This is my creation:

The lovely image is from the   ODBD "Simple Things" set! After stamping the image twice and coloring with Copic Markers, it was cut out using ODBD's "Custom Clover Die"!  The Custom Die makes it so easy to cut out!  The flowers were poped up on the Spellbinder's "Fleur de Lis Rectangles" Die and the sentiment was centered in the middle! I scored the base of the card using my "Scor-Pal"!  The leaves and swirls in the background were created using CherryLynn's Fanciful Floruish! Ribbon and pearls were also added!

We hope you will play along with us! Remember you have two weeks!

After stamping the sweet little bird from  ODBD "You Will Find Refuge",  it was colored using copics, cut out, and popped up! The background was embossed using a Sizzix E/F. A Spellbinder's Nestie was used to cut the oval for the center. The sentiment is from ODBD'S Scripture Series 2! I added color to some of the embossed leaves at the bottom and some red stickles for berries at the top of the D/P!

Sisterhood Sundays Challenge SS2

Happy Sunday everyone! It's time for another Rubbernecker Sisterhood Sunday Challenge!

Today we are bringing you a fun sketch challenge!

This is my take on the sketch!

I chose to use Rubbernecker's   "Evergreen" (SKU:689 690 694 SO)! After stamping the lovely evergreen it was colored using copic markers. The decorative border was done using a Spellbinder's die! Glitter and acrylic paint was used for a snow effect. Tim Holtz broken china was sponged around the tree! The background panel was created by cutting a circle, gluing it over the dp and embossing using a Sizzix e/p!

Please stop by the Rubbernecker Blog to check out what some of the talented Rubbernecker Design Team have created and to see all the Challenge Details!

Happy Saturday Everyone!

Hope everyone has had a good week! We have had three glorious days of sunshine and mild temps for this time of the year. We'll take all we can get!

This weeks ODBDSLC Challenge is to create a bookmark! It can be a corner bookmark, a card with a bookmark, a ribbon bookmark .... anything with a bookmark! Easy peasy!

We would also like to welcome our newest guest designer Wanda Cullen! WaHooooo, welcome Wanda! Looking forward to all your beautiful creations!

To make the challenge even more fun, Our Daily Bread Designs is giving a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Friday, Dec 9th- 8:00 AM EST! One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. If you are not using ODBD stamps, please do not enter more than once!

Please see ODBD Blog for all the details!

I chose to make a card with a corner bookmark attached! ODBD's newly released "Simple Things" was stamped, colored using copics then cut out and framed using a Spellbinder's nestie! M/S punches were used to create the decorative border of the bookmark! The bookmard attaches to the card by slidding it over another piece that is popped up on the card base!

This shows the bookmark in use on the corner of the page!

This shows the card front with the bookmark removed!
