Good morning everyone!

It's Saturday and time for another ODBDSLC27!

Thanks to everyone that played in last weeks Punches and Diecuts Challenge last week! It's always fun to see everyone's beautiful creations!

This weeks ODBDSLC27 is to use texture!

Texture it!! Add texture whether it be through embossing, your different embellishments (feathers, textured ribbon…) or distressing (roughing up the edges not just inking them)!

To make the challenge even more fun, ODBD's will be giving out a prize , a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, September 2. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.

Please see ODBD's Blog for all the details!

This is my creation!

The lovely flowers, Our Daily Bread Design's "Don't Worry", were colored using copic markers, embossed using versamark and clear e/p and cut out! The background was embossed using a Sizzix E/F, then swipped using a stamp pad to add color! A Spellbinder's Nestie was used to create the frame. The decorative border inside the frame was also done using a Spellbinder's diecut The fence was made using a M/S punch. My texture was added using embossing folder and embossing the flowers!

Please stop by and see what the other Challenge Design Team have created!

We hope you can play along with us!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous and blessed weekend!

Happy Saturday everyone!

It's time for another Our Daily Bread Design's Challenge Team Challenge!

We thank everyone that participated in last weeks "Stamp It, Stamp It Again Challenge"! It's always fun to see your creations!

Today the ODBD Challenge Team  is challenging you to create something using your punches and diecuts. An easy and fun challenge!

To make the challenge even more fun, ODBD's will be giving a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, August 26 . One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.

Please see ODBD's Blog for all the details!

Here is my creation! "ODBDSLC26"

I used both diecuts and punches. The lovely sunflower image  ODBD's newly realease "Harvest Blessings" was colored using copic markers and then cut out using ODBD's large sunflower die. It is so easy to use and cuts like a dream! There is a tutorial on ODBD's Blog! I used a Spellbinder's Nestabillity for my card base and the Nestie oval to cut and emboss the frame. The little fence is a M/S punch. The base and inside the frame were stippled. Pearls and ribbon were also used.

We hope you will play along with us!

Good morning everyone!

It is time for another Stamping In Time on Assignment Challenge! (SNTODBD16)!

Mary Marsh is our challenge host this week! Thank you so much, Mary! The assignment is to use ODBD stamps. Mary is challenging us to Birds of Seasons! Create a card using a bird with a spring, summer, winter, or fall theme. You can go with any occasion that is associated with the season (i.e. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Patriotic, etc) you choose. Or, you can create a card for birthdays, weddings, or events you need that occurs during the season you choose. Each card must have at least one bird. While ODBD stamps are required, an ODBD bird image is not required even though ODBD has a lot of bird images. If you have an ODBD bird image then by all means use it. We would love to see what you create with the this seasonal challenge!

Please see  ODBD's Blog for all the details!

This is what I have created:

You can see the embossing a little better on this one!

I chose a Christmas themed card using ODBD's Sing for Joy and Luke 2:11! All images were colored using copics. The poinsettias were stamped several times colored, cut out and popped up. The bird was framed using a  Spellbinder's Nestie! The nestie and background were shadded using a stipple brush! Glitter was added to the florwers! All the images except the bird are embossed!

Happy Saturday everyone!

It's time for another Our Daily Bread Design's Shining the Light Challenge!

Today the ODBD Challenge Team is challenging you to Stamp more than once! Us a stamp or part of a stamp more than once on your creation!

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize , a $ 15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, August 18. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.

Please check out ODBD's Blog for all the details!

Here is my creation for ODBDSLC25!

The beautiful ODBD "Don't Worry image was stamped several times on the main panel, colored using copics and embossed using versamark and clear e/p. Some of the images were cut out and popped up! The decorative border was done using a Spellbinder's Diecut!

This is not only a beautiful set, but the message is so very true! It took me a very long time to put my worries in Gods hands. I would literally make myself ill with worry. Our minister's sermon, one Sunday, was about praying to our Savior to take these worries from us. It was a changing day in my life! It was truly a miracle in my life!  Do I still have concerns, of course I do. But, the first thing I do is pray to the Lord to take these burdens from me.

Please stop by and see what the other ODBD's Challenge Team has created!

Hope you will stop by and leave some comments!

I will be at the Stamp Away USA Convention in Ohio all day Saturday! WaHoooooo! I'm so excited!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Hi everyone!

Hope you are keeping cool! It has been in the 90's about 26 days out of the last 30! It could be worse I know some states have been over 100.

Today is my Happy 37th Anniversary! Married to my  best friend for 37 years, doesn't seem possible since I am still in my 40's (teehee).

This creation is for three challenges!

Flourishes lovely Cherry Blossom image was stamped then colored using copics. It was then cut out using Spellbinder's Nesties. I really liked the brick background Bev (TexasGrammy) used with her beautiful bouquet! Thanks for the inspiration, Bev. After embossing using Sizzix e/f, I swipped it with the ink pad! Added rhinestones to the center of the blossoms and the bow!
