Happy Saturday morning everyone!

Goodness, this week passed by quickly! Our weather is all over the map! One day sunny in 80's, the next  cloudy rainy and in the 60's!

This weeks challenge: Make a card or project using a scripture, quote or song as the focale point!

This weeks project will be for two weeks so you will have until Oct 7th at 8am to participate!

To make the challenge even more fun, Our Daily Bread Designs is giving a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Friday, Sept 23rd! One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. If you are not using ODBD stamps, please do not enter more than once!

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Sept 23rd at 8 p.m. EST. If you upload your creations to SplitcoastStampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword ODBDSLC75. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge!
This is my take on the challenge!

I chose to use ODBD's "The Good Seed". The sentiment was framed using Spellbinder's "Labels Seven"!  The swirl is CherryLynnDesigns "Fanciful Flourish"! The flowers are by Wild Orchard! The D/P from "Basic Grey" was embossed using a Sizzix E/F. Lace and pearls were also added.

Happy Friday Everyone

Hope everyone had a good week! Wow, are our temps cooling down! It was 53 degrees this morning! I am going to have to dig out my sweaters and longer pants! No more open toed shoes.

This card is for a challenge over on Splitcoaststampers! Today Jeannie challenged us to make a card or project using mostly blues! You can find the challenge and all the deets HERE!

This is my take on the challenge!

Today I chose to use Rubbernecker's Petunias. They were stamped using Momento Tuxedo Black, colored using blender pen and reinkers and cut out and framed using Spellbinders new Labels Twenty-Three. While image was still in the diecut I sponged using bashful blue. I created the background by stamping the image using Momento white. The flowers from Wild Orchid were added. The leaves were done using a CherryLynn diecut.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Don't forget to give your loved ones a hug!

Hope to see you again soon! Hugs!

I'm  using ODBD's newly released "Garden Tag Set". Love this set it is so versatile. Great for fall creations! After using Spellbinder's Labels 18 I sponged Ranger Rust! The image was colored using copic markers! For my lacing I used rafia to lace thru the new Spellbinders "Picot Edge Circles". The leaves were created using Spellbinders new "Floral Flourishes".  Cherry Lynns "Fanciful Flourish" was also used on the background. M/S fence punch. Embossing was done with Sizzix E/F.  The beautiful fall paper is by BoBunny!
