Hi everyone! It seems like I have been out of the loop for a long time!

We were gone for almost two weeks. Had a wonderful time in Florida visiting friends and family. Every year around the first weekend in June we have a family reunion. This year about 150 reletives and friends attended. Lots of fun, but I'm always glad to be home.

When we arrived home, we found that our computer would not connect to the internet. Finally got it fixed after four days.

Just wanted you to know why I have not been creating lately! It's good to be back!

This is a card I created for three SCS challenges:

Inside card.

1. CC277 found here, is hosted by Betty (gbedwright) challenged us to use Dusty Durango, Bermuda Bay and Curshed Curry. Thanks for the wonderful color combo, Betty!

2. Cindy's "mothermark" Teapot Tuesday was to help Silly Sydney solve her romantic beach problems. Thanks for the fun challenge, Cindy!

3. Anne Ryan's Queen For Today challenge honoring Queen "Kittie" "Kittie 747" Fabulous Choice, Anne! WaHooooo! What an honor to case Kittie. Kittie is the "Queen of Scene" and colors beautifully! Here is Kittie's card that I chose to case.

The image from Rubbernecker's,
Under the Sea was stamped twice. I brayered the sky and sea then used a template to sponge in the moon! The sand was added using a stipple brush. The image was colored using copics, cut out and popped up. White acrylic paint was added for sea foam. The frame was cuttlebugged and then cut out using a Spellbinder's Nesstibillitie! TFL

Thanks for stopping by! Hope things will be back to normal soon!

Happy Saturday everyone!

It's time for another Shining the Light Challenge: ODBDSLC19

The team would like you to create a bookmark. We thought it was time to do something other than a card. This challenge will be up for two weeks due to the holiday and new release on July 1st!

To make the challenge even more fun, ODBD will be giving out a prize , a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, July 8. One random winner will be chosen!

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them.

Here is my bookmark:

I used two Our Daily Bread Design  sets for this bookmark! The cattails are from ODBD's With Heartfelt Sympathy and the wonderful sentiment is ODBD's Serenity Prayer! One, I know, I need to read every day.  That is why I am going to use this so that when I mark my pages I can read it over and over! I used the brayering tech I learned from classes with Michelle Zindorf and her tech found HERE!

Please check ODBD's Blog for all the details!

Please stop by to see what the other Our Daily Bread designs Challenge Team has created for you:

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you will play along with us!
Have a marvelous weekend!

Here is my creation!

The Scripture is ODBD's Scripture's 4! The background was cuttlebugged using a Sizix embossing folder. The flourishes framing the border is a Tim Holts die-cut. The tiny leaves are a M/S punch. Spellbinders Nestibillities were used to cut out squares.  Zva Pearls were added to the flourishes!
