Here is my creation!

This is a "sneak peek" of Our Daily Bread Designs "Garden Tag Set"! This is such a versitle set. Love the images and wonderful sentiments! I decided to create an Accordian Card!   Tim Holt grunge paper and Spellbinders Lables One was used to created the cover for the card.    The sweet little pumpkin was stamped, colored using copic markers then cut out using Spellbinders Circle Nesties!  The image was then adhered to a M/S "doily" and popped up over an ODBD's Custom Elegant Ovals!

This is the inside of my project!

The sentiment is from the newly released ODBD's Scriptures 2! The foliage was created using Spellbinder's Foliage Diecut! The flower was done using McGill and M/S punches! A Sizzix E/F was used to emboss the background and the small panel! After die cutting the leaves I used the negative cut out to sponge the background!

This is the sketch that Chris has for us this week!

Scripture Series 2 and Scrolly Borders

I'm excited to share a card I made with the brand new Our Daily Bread designs release, the customer favorites Scripture Series 2!   As part of our third year anniversary celebration, customers submitted their favorite Scriptures that they would like to use on a card, and after much thought the winners were chosen and made into this special edition set!

I chose Psalm 54:4 the Scripture submitted by Jan Castle! After stamping the Scrolly Border and Scripture I embossed using clear embossing powder and heat tool. The decorative border and framing  was done using  MS stamp around the page punches and Spellbinder's Nesties. The decorative corner was made using a Cuttlebug diecut. Gold pearls, ribbon and a prima were also used!

To see the full release, as well as samples made by the winners of the contest whose verses were chosen, and to hear their stories of why they chose the verse they did, please visit the Our Daily Bread designs Blog! Also, the Design Team has created samples for your inspiration with these Scriptures. Here is the list of participants.

ODBD is offering three $20.00 Gift Certificates!

There are hidden prizes along the way, so be sure to leave a comment on each one for a chance to win! Winners will be announced 8/17!

Isn't he adorable! This is "Jack" he is one of the NEW adorable SCOOTER KID'S! I stamped the sweet image just to position it to create a scene. After sketching in the limbs with a very thin brown sketch pen I used Rubbernecker "Kittie Kits" Cause A Scene Outdoor Master to fill in the branches and the grass. A homemade template was used to sponge in the clouds. A second image of the sweet Jack was stamped, colored using copics, cut out and placed over the scene! Spellbinder's Nesties were used to create the frame. The small panel was embossed using a Sizzix E/F! The d/p is by BoBunny!

ODBDSLC71 Challenge!

Happy Saturday everyone!

I hope you have had a wonderful week and are looking forward to another ODBDSLC71 challenge!

This weeks challenge: Notions or think Seamstress:

Think seamstress (stitching, buttons, seam binding, pins etc.) You can create any project you like as long as it follows the theme. Adding only Ribbons, lace or lace or ribbon bows does not count.

To make the challenge even more fun, Our Daily Bread Designs is giving a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Friday, August 12th. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. If you are not using ODBD stamps, please do not enter more than once!

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. Please see ODBD's Blog for all the details!

Here is my card!

A seamstress, I am not! My feeble attempt at following the guidelines for this challenge was to sew two buttons in the corner of my card! Lame, I know!

To frame the sentiment from ODBD's "Sew Special" I used a combination of Spellbinders Dies, Classic Circles, Lacey Circles and the Classic Inverted Scallop. A Cuttlebug die cut was used for the decorative corners. Buttons were sewn in the corners.

Pleast stop by to see what the talented ODBD Challenge Team have created!

We hope you will play alsong with us! We would love to see what you create!
