The main panel was distressed using distress inks sponged over white cardstock. After sponging I used the darkest color to swirl lightly over sponged area! The lovely image and sentiment ODBD's "Our Daily Bread" were stamped and clear embossed. I also distressed the sides of the panel using scissors!  The grunge flower was made using punches. The decorative border was made using M/S punch.

Hi everyone!

Hope you are having fabulous Monday! It is a little cooler here today, it's the humidity that gets you!
Good day to stay in an create!

This is for today's Tech Lovers Challenge on SCS and also for Anne Ryans QFTD honoring Sabrina (Cook22). Thanks for the challenges ladies!

Here is my creation:

This is Sabrina's beautiful creation that I chose to case! I changed some of the colors and images. I used the same design and sentiment!

The beautiful image and sentiment is ODBD's "Sing To the Lord"! I embossed the images, water colored using reinkers, over embossed using e/f and cut out images. The sentiment was embossed using e/p, cut out using SU die cut and embossed again using e/f. A M/S punch was used for the decorative border.

Here are some others that didn't get blogged!

This is Our Daily Bread design's "Our Daily Bread"!

After cutting the d/p I used several Tim Holtz distress inks to sponge randomly on the paper. I then stamped and embossed the grain image. (GinaK had a tutorial on StampTV.) The main panel was stamped using the same image and also embossed. Dew Drops were used around the border.

The is a Rubbernecker creation!

The Rubbernecker "Floral" were stamped, colored using markers then spritzed. After stamping I went over petals and leaves using an embossing pen and used clear embossing powder to emboss! The decorative borders were done using M/S punches!

Another Rubbernecker

The Rubbernecker images were colored using copics. Both were cut out and the sweet little tiger was popped up! I added clouds to the background using a torn template. The leaves were punched using a Sizzix die cut.

Thanks for stopping by! Stay cool! Hope to see you soon!

This is what I created for the challenge!

This is the ODBD's newly released "Bless This Home".  The lovely image was stamped, colored using copics then cut out and placed on the Spellbinder's Nestibillities. I used a tip from Dawn to add a little red when coloring the windows. It really makes them look so warm and cozy! Thanks for the tip, Dawn!

This is the sketch to follow!

Thursday, July 8, 2010

Hi everyone!

Are you ready for another "Stamping In Time on Assignment Challenge"?

The assignment is ODBD stamps. The challenge is Christmas in July! It is time to start working on your Christmas cards and no better time than with a challenge. If you do not have any ODBD Christmas images, use what you have to make a Christmas inspired card or gift. We would love to see what you create!

This is what I have created for SNTODBD13:

The lovely image is from ODBD's "Worship the Lord" set. The image was stamped, colored using copic markers and cut out using Spellbinders Nestibillities. I also used glitter and acrylic paint to add snow and ice to the scene. The smaller panel was embossed using my cuttlebug and an e/b folder. The large background panel was scored using my Scorepal!

Please check out what these Design Team Members have created!

Please stop by ODBD's Blog for all the details!

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a marvelous day!

Monday, July 5, 2010

Hi everyone! Hope you all are having a fabulous holiday weekend!

Our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren came over to celebrate the Fourth of July. Lots of food and family fun. That always makes this mom and grandmother extremely happy!

My creation for today is for two challenges:

Holly challenged us to create our own Paper Posies.
I chose to create crepe paper flowers using Terri's tutorial! Thanks, Terri! Thanks, Holly for the fab challenge and the link!

Denise challenged us to find inspiration here! I chose this beautiful cake! Thanks for the wonderful challenge, Denise! So many gorgeous cakes!

The Rubbernecker image from the Florals collection was stamped, embossed and then heat set! The lovely flowers were made using circle punches and crepe paper. I could only find white crepe paper so after punching out circles I stippled  using cert. celery. I also found that if I doubled the crepe paper the circles cut more evenly.  The framing for the flowers are Spellbinders Nestibilities. The dp for the larger panel was cut from a tissue box! The swirl is a Tim Holtz die cut. The white background panel was scored using Scorepal.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope to see you again soon! Hugs!!!!!
