Good Morning!
It's Saturday and time for another ODBDSLC38!
Thanks to everyone that played last week!
This week we are asking you to create a holiday card. It can be Thanksgiving, Christmas ~ etc.
To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize , a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, November 25. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.
Here is my creation!
The lovely ODBD's Luke 2-11 was stamped twice and colored using copic markers. I then cut out one of the poinsettias, added a glaze and popped it up. The sentiment is from ODBD's Blessed Christmas!
The background D/P is Basic Grey.
Please stop by to see what the talented ODBD Challenge Team have created:
We hope you will play along with us!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a marvelous weekend!
~ Note ~
My mom is doing good. She did have a mild heart attack, but there is no blockage or damage. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. Hugs!

WOW, Fran, this is over the top my friend!! I love the way you have matched the Poinsettia to the paper. Amazing how the glaze just makes the Poinsettia pop and that trademark bow in the corner....beautiful!! Thanks for the update on your Mom, I was a little worried there for a minute!! What gorgeous glistening poinsettias Francie! I'm so sorry to hear that about your mom....my dad's been in the hospital with heart issues. Glad to hear there is no blockages or damage!
Blessings on you!
Oops, I tried to post this once, here I will try again - your card is STUNNING!!! Absolutely! But ALL of your work IS!!! YES, I am still a paper doll!! One precious month left with my grand daughters living here and then they are off to island in the Indian Ocean for 3 years and I will not see them....so bear with me, I will be better at commenting after they leave.......
I love your layered glossy poinsettia and the matching paper you used here Fran - so glad to hear you mum is doing ok - I wish your family a lovely Thanksgiving Day!
PTL with the good news of your mom! Your card is stunning and so elegant! I loved this corner poinsettia image all along, but couldn't justify buying it after having several similar images already. :-)
So glad your mom is doing better! I will continue to be praying for her as she recovers. Now...your card - LOVE the papers and the curly effect of the poinsettia! Beautiful work Fran! Have a BLESSED Thanksgiving weekend!
