Good morning everyone!

Today is the first challenge for the year for Our Daily Bread Designs Shining The Light Challenge. (ODBDSLC43)

If you missed our last winner's post, you may not know that we have two new players. The ever so talented and sweet Silke Ledlow is back as a Challenge Team member for Our Daily Bread Designs!! Welcome back Silke!! We are doubly blessed since the ever so sweet and inspiring Pat Smethers will be joining us as a guest for the next two months. Welcome aboard Pat!! We are so excited to have them join us!!!!

Since we are welcoming in the New Year and ending the old one our challenge is to use something New and something Old!

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them.

To make the challenge even more fun, ODBD will be giving  a  $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, January 13. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. If you are not using ODBD stamps, please do not submit more than once.

Please see ODBD Blog for all the details!

This is what I created.

For my new I am using the newly released ODBD's "Butterfly Corner"! For the old some design paper that I have been hording.

The lovely image was stamped and colored using copic markers. After coloring the image I used a versamark pen and clear embossing powder to emboss the butterfly and flowers. Glitter was also added to the butterflies wings. Old olive was stippled over the greenery and Ranger's Broken China was used for the sky. The K&Co DP was embossed using a Tim Holtz E/F

Please stop by and leave a little love on the beautiful creations of these talented Challenge Team members!

We hope you will play along with us! We would love to see your wonderful creations in  the New Year!

Thanks for stopping by! Hugs!
