ODBDSLC71 Challenge!

Happy Saturday everyone!

I hope you have had a wonderful week and are looking forward to another ODBDSLC71 challenge!

This weeks challenge: Notions or think Seamstress:

Think seamstress (stitching, buttons, seam binding, pins etc.) You can create any project you like as long as it follows the theme. Adding only Ribbons, lace or lace or ribbon bows does not count.

To make the challenge even more fun, Our Daily Bread Designs is giving a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Friday, August 12th. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. If you are not using ODBD stamps, please do not enter more than once!

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by August 12th at 8 p.m. EST. If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword ODBDSLC71. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.

Please see ODBD's Blog for all the details!

Here is my card!

A seamstress, I am not! My feeble attempt at following the guidelines for this challenge was to sew two buttons in the corner of my card! Lame, I know!

To frame the sentiment from ODBD's "Sew Special" I used a combination of Spellbinders Dies, Classic Circles, Lacey Circles and the Classic Inverted Scallop. A Cuttlebug die cut was used for the decorative corners. Buttons were sewn in the corners.

Pleast stop by to see what the talented ODBD Challenge Team have created!

We hope you will play alsong with us! We would love to see what you create!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a fabulous weekend! Don't forget to hug your loved ones! Hugs!
