ODBDSLC76

Hi everyone, it's time for another ODBD's Shining the Light Challenge!

This weeks ODBDSLC76 Challenge is "Lacing"! This is not to use lace but to incorporate lacing on you creation!

To make the challenge even more fun, Our Daily Bread Designs is giving a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Friday, Sept 16th! One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. If you are not using ODBD stamps, please do not enter more than once!

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Sept 2nd at 8 p.m. EST. If you upload your creations to SplitcoastStampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword ODBDSLC75. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge!

Please see ODBD Blog for all the details!

This is my take on the challenge!

I'm  using ODBD's newly released "Garden Tag Set". Love this set it is so versatile. Great for fall creations! After using Spellbinder's Labels 18 I sponged Ranger Rust! The image was colored using copic markers! For my lacing I used rafia to lace thru the new Spellbinders "Picot Edge Circles". The leaves were created using Spellbinders new "Floral Flourishes".  Cherry Lynns "Fanciful Flourish" was also used on the background. M/S fence punch. Embossing was done with Sizzix E/F.  The beautiful fall paper is by BoBunny!

Please stop by to see what our talented ODBD Challenge team have created!

We hope you will play along with us!

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to hug your loved ones! Hugs

Francie, your card is outstanding in every way. Love the colors. I just got that fanciful flourish and love it.
About the church, I'm not sure about services in it now. I do know they were having them the 5th Sunday after Easter in the 1970's to ask God's blessings on the farm animals and to thank Him for the harvest. The church was built by slaves. I just love all these old churches and getting facts on them.
