Happy Saturday Everyone!
Hope everyone has had a good week! We have had three glorious days of sunshine and mild temps for this time of the year. We'll take all we can get!
This weeks ODBDSLC Challenge is to create a bookmark! It can be a corner bookmark, a card with a bookmark, a ribbon bookmark .... anything with a bookmark! Easy peasy!
We would also like to welcome our newest guest designer Wanda Cullen! WaHooooo, welcome Wanda! Looking forward to all your beautiful creations!
To make the challenge even more fun, Our Daily Bread Designs is giving a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Friday, Dec 9th- 8:00 AM EST! One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. If you are not using ODBD stamps, please do not enter more than once!
While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Dec. 9th at 8 a.m. EST. If you upload your creations to SplitcoastStampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword ODBDSLC87. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge!
I chose to make a card with a corner bookmark attached! ODBD's newly released "Simple Things" was stamped, colored using copics then cut out and framed using a Spellbinder's nestie! M/S punches were used to create the decorative border of the bookmark! The bookmard attaches to the card by slidding it over another piece that is popped up on the card base!
This shows the bookmark in use on the corner of the page!
This shows the card front with the bookmark removed!
Please stop by to see what the ODBD Challenge Team have created!

We hope you will play along with us! We would love to see your creations!
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to hug your loved ones!
Hope you have a beautiful weekend! Hugs!

Fran, this is such an amazing idea to add the bookmark to your card......I think I need to case that! ;D I was just saying this morning that I think I will be making some bookmarks for friends and that would be the perfect way to give a bookmark!! Thanks for the inspiration! Have a blessed weekend! Hugs, Sabrina
Absolutely yummy Fran! I love the breath of spring your bookmark brings! And those details like the edging, the fact it is removable from the card... WOW!! Out of the ballpark!
Fab idea to include the bookmark as part of the card. Love the colors and the layers that you have used on the bookmark.
This is a genius idea, Francie, and I am really loving the colors you used with this new clover image!! Thanks so much for the warm welcome...I'm thrilled to be part of your team for the next couple of months!
