Happy Saturday Everyone!

Are you ready for another Our Daily Bread Designs Shining The Light Challenge?

This weeks fun challenge is "NOEL" word play:

   N- nestabilities, the word NOEL
O- Ovals, Our Daily Bread Designs, circles (shape)....
E- Embossing, envelopes ....
L- Lace, layers....

To make the challenge even more fun, Our Daily Bread Designs is giving a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Friday, Dec 23rd- 8:00 AM EST! One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. If you are not using ODBD stamps, please do not enter more than once!

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Dec. 23rd at 8 a.m. EST. If you upload your creations to SplitcoastStampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword ODBDSLC89. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge!
Please see ODBD Blog for all the details!

Here is my creation!

N - Nesties = O - Ovals, ODBD = E - embossing = L - layers

After stamping the sweet little bird from  ODBD "You Will Find Refuge",  it was colored using copics, cut out, and popped up! The background was embossed using a Sizzix E/F. A Spellbinder's Nestie was used to cut the oval for the center. The sentiment is from ODBD'S Scripture Series 2! I added color to some of the embossed leaves at the bottom and some red stickles for berries at the top of the D/P!

Please stop by to see what the ODBD challenge team have created!

We hope you will play along with us! We would love to see your creations!

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to hug your loved ones!

Hope you have a beautiful weekend! Hugs!

Fran, how perfect this is in its simplicity - just playing with this chickadee image myself - we must both be dreaming of springtime! Love the framing technique you used for the Scripture! Hugs!
