Happy friday everyone!

I was away for for awhile due to a death in the family! My uncle in Florida passed away! He had been ill for quiet awhile. I will miss him terribly, but it is also comforting to know he is with God and is no longer suffering!

Hope with all the storms lately you are all safe.

The card today is for two challenges over on Splitcoaststampers!

Todays Queen For Today was to honor Anne (jdmommy)!

Wendy's F4A62 challenged us to use lots of layers on our cards.

The lovely Rubbernecker image was stamped and clear embossed on Kraft C/S. I then used Clorox bleach and a brush to bleach the image. After bleaching I colored the leaves and highlighed the rose using Copic markers. Spellbinders Nesties were used to cut oval for the framing of the image. The border was made using an EK Success punch. M/S Pine Bough and leaf punches used for the foliage. I glued a small deeper ribbon to a larger lighter colored ribbon to make the bow. Pearls were added to each corner. The DP is from Basic Grey!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous evening! Hugs!

Edna In The Kitchen 562-07

The lovely Edna is back! She is WOMAN here her roar! Today she wallpapered her kitchen, weeded her garden, brought in fresh flowers and sewed a new robe ~ she did all that before cooking a gourmet breakfast. I've had a lot of fun using this funny but cute image! Edna was stamped and colored using Copic Markers. Her lovely robe was paper pieced! She was then cut out and popped up on the Spellbinders frame! The insert of frame was done using Tim Holtz E/F and a M/S punch. Flowers, M/S punched leaves and fern were added!

Edna is good, but when it comes to serving breakfast in bed she sorta frowns on that. The cute Rubbernecker Sentiment says "If you want breakfast in bed......sleep in the kitchen".
The sunflowers are from Rubbernecker's Stamps Kittie Kits Cause A Scene "In My Garden"!
The decorative border was made using a M/S punch!

This is the order of the HOP!

Fran Gumprecht (that would be me)

Thanks for stopping by and hopping with us! Good Luck!

Hope your day is beautiful! Hugs!

For my "No Ribbon" creation I decided to make a masculine card!

The newly released image from ODBD's  "Father's Day" was stamped twice. After coloring both, I cut the head and antlers from one and popped it up. The foliage was done using copics and "Flower Soft".
The sky was sponged in! I used ODBD's  "Wood Background" and Spellbinder's Lables 18 to create the framing for the image. The background was stamped using ODBD's  "Birch Background".

Hey, hey everyone!

What glorious weather we are having! It was in the 70's yesterday and into the 80's today! What a difference a week can make!

Hope you are all well and enjoying some beautiful warm weather!

My card today is for two challenges over on SCS. The F4A59 challenge was to use the embedded embossing tech. What a fun technique. It is also to honor our QFTD Harriet (hskelley)!

The lovely
Rubbernecker image was stamped, colored using copics and cut out and framed using Spellbinders new Fleur de Lis Squares. Extra leaves were colored, cut out and popped up. To create the embedded embossed background I googled rose petals, printed the picture, cut out the rose petals, glued them to the white cardstock and embossed using an SU Sizzix E/F.

This was a fun technique! If you haven't done this technique,  you should give it a try!

Hope you have a fabulous weekend! Blessing and hugs!
