I chose to use ODBD's "Get Well"!

I used Spellbinder's oval and  floral oval to frame the image and sentiment! The background was done using CherryLynnDies Fanciful Flourish and a Sizzix EF!

I chose to use ODBD's 1 Corinthians  and Love One Another!

We should always remember these words in our daily lives!

After stamping the beautiful verse I applied  "Catalina Border" from Memory Box! I then embossed using a Sizzix embossing folder! Flowers from Wild Orchid and pearls were added!

ODBD's 4th Anniversary Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs 4th Anniversary Special Design Team Edition Release Blog Hop! If you got here from the talented  Lisa's Blog, you are in the right place! The bread sticks are so excited to be celebrating this special milestone in the life of ODBD! It is such a blessing to work for a company that brings glory to God in every stamp set created, and offers us the tools we need to do the same with every card we create! If you are a long term follower of ODBD, then you know that each year, the Design Team submits a favorite Scripture for the special anniversary sets, and those suggestions have been the sum total of all the "Scripture Collection" stamp sets in the store.  This year, the special sets include our favorite Scriptures, but also quotes and sentiments that we feel would be great on cards or projects. I think you will find some of the most encouraging and uplifting words available in stamps in these special anniversary sets!

So now, here are the Details of the Anniversary Hop:

 I think it is a real honor that Kelley asked us to participate by submitting our favorite scripture or sentiment to celebrate ODBD's anniversaries! This is the sentiment I submitted!

The sentiment was cut out and framed using Spellbinder's Floral Ovals and Fleur de lis Squares!  The decorative border was created using Spellbinder's Persian Accents. The lovely flowers were created using Cherry Lynn Designs Miniature and Medium Rose Dies! The leaves and foliage is CLD's Flourish! The D/P is by My Minds Eye!

After stamping the background I used Spellbinder's Blossom Three to create the frame for ODBD's Scriptures 3! The swirls and flowers were created using Cherry Lynn Dies! Pearls were added to the corners!

ODBD "Flower Hunt Game"

~ Happy Tuesday and welcome to ODBD's Flower Hunt ~

We are celebrating the 4th Anniversary of Our Daily Bread designs! All this week we have special events going on over on the ODBD Blog, so be sure to check them out! Today we have something that we hope will be pure fun for all! One Dozen of the Bread Sticks have baked up a special game for you! We decided to shower ODBD with a bouquet of flowers, since flowers are one of the traditional gifts for a 4th anniversary. You will be collecting these flowers along the way, and creating a beautiful bouquet for Kelley and all of Our Daily Bread designs!

We each have created a special card or project using at least one of our own personal ALL TIME FAVORITE ODBD sets. SIX of us will also have a special blog button with a special flower on it! (It will be labeled as a Designer's Flower Hunt Game, and will give the name of a flower.) Look for it in the designer's side bars of their blogs.

To play the game:

• Visit each designer listed below
• Leave a comment
• Keep a list of each designer who has a special flower blog button. Write down the designer's name and the name of the flower they have.
• When you have visited all 12, left comments and found the 6 flowers, send an email to Grace at gnywening@yahoo.com. Simply name the 6 designers who had the flowers and the flower they had.
• Winners will be chosen randomly from all who email me with their list by 9:00pm DST Mar. 15th!

Now on to my project details:

Grace asked us to list our FOUR ALL TIME FAVORITE ODBD sets, and to use at least one on our project today. How can I possibly just choose 4? Well.... if I have to, here are my four favorites:.....................

1.  "Don't Worry"  reminds me that worry doesn't solve anything! We should give our worries up to the Lord and leave them in his hands!

 

2. "Happy Birthday"  has a  watering can of beautiful flowers! Such a beautiful way to send that special someone a Happy Birthday message!

3. "Harvest Blessings" Sunflowers are such happy flowers, they make me smile!

4. "Sing To The Lord" is the very first ODBD set that I purchased. I just love the beautiful bird on the branch of blooms. It also has such wonderful Scriptures!

For my project today, I used........ "Don't Worry"

The lovely flowers, butterfly and sentiment were framed using a Sizzix E/F. The images were colored using copics. Pearls were added to the corners!

IC322 Inspiration Challenge!

Happy Saturday Everyone!

We have been having delightful weather this winter! Can't believe these temps in the 50's and 60's! It is raining today, but can't complain, it is still in the 40's! Beats snow any day!

This is what I created for Judy's Inspiration Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers! Beautiful inspiration site!

Would love the spend about two weeks walking the beach and eating out! (sigh)

After stamping the lovely Flourishes image It was colored using copic markers! I clear embossed the tops of the trees sponged in the sun, the clouds and the ocean. The scene was framed using Spellbinder Blossom 3! CherryLynn's Fanciful Flourish was added to the corners.

This is what I created!

How true this is for me! I can be totally stressed about something and in prayer come away feeling like the Lord has taken the weight of my burdens off my shoulders!

The frame was created  starting with Spellbinder's "Blossom 3"  and then cutting a circle using Spellbinders "Classic Circle" and lastly using Spellbinder's Scalloped Circles. The decorative border was done using CherryLynnDesigns "Border Carnivale"! The corners were embossed using a small Cuttlebug E/F. Died Seam Binding was used to create the bow!

Here is my creation!

I chose to use ODBD's "Simple Things" and ODBD's Custom "Clover Die"! The custom die makes it easy peasy to cut out the lovely clover! For the background I started with a piece of white c/s and stamped the Clover image several times. I then colored the blossoms only and  embossed those using a versamark pen and clear E/P. I then brayered using certainly celery and  added shading to the clover leaves using copic markers. The framing of the sentiment was done using Spellbinder's Circle Nesties!

I'm still marveling at this beautiful weather we are having! We are still having highs in the 50's! January in KY. that is unheard of! Yep, we will take all we can get! I know the cold "stuff" is coming!

My little cutie patootie great grandson was here again this past friday! He just melts my heart right down!

I have a challenge card to share with you today!

This is for two challenges over on Splitcoaststampers!

Jen's CAS152  and Judy's TLC359 !

The background stripes of D/P were glued together then cut and arranged in the Bargello pattern! The decorative swirl was done using CherryLynnDesigns Fanciful Flourish. The tiny buds were done using a M/S Punch! I used a Spellbinders tag punch to stamp the SU sentiment.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I am getting a late start today! Ummmm this evening! My house guest left this morning, then I had an appt. and then sweet hubby decided we needed to take down the decorations! He actually did most of it! He is a sweetheart.

We had a beautiful Christmas with friends and family! This little guy stole the show! My little great grandson! Gasp, am I old enough to have a great grandson! lol!

He really is a precious baby! Such a happy little one! He is much loved!

I started by embossing using the lovely Sizzix E/F. I then added flowers created by using a M/S Punch. The vine at the bottom was done using CherryLynn Designs Fanciful Flourish! The Sentiment is from ODBD's Garden Tag Set!

I will be back this week with Blog Candy! I have never done this before and really dont know how to go about it! If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear your comments!
